Jarvis. A voice assistant that lives on your computer.

Say "Hey Jarvis" and ask. He opens apps, plays music, sets reminders, takes notes, reads you the page you are on and answers questions. The wake word, speech recognition and voice all run on your machine, so your audio never leaves it.

Free to download. No account needed.

The Jarvis app: his core, his status and his reply, "Good afternoon. Online and ready."

tar xzf jarvis-v1.4.1.tar.gz && cd jarvis-v1.4.1/ && ./install.sh

The first install downloads the voice and speech models, about 900 MB, once. Jarvis then starts by himself every time you log in.

What he does

Runs your computer by voice

Open apps, folders and websites, control music and volume, lock the screen, take screenshots.

Remembers for you

Reminders, notes to self and routines like "work mode" that open everything you need at once.

Knows what you are looking at

Summarise this page, explain the selected text, read it out loud.

Answers anything else

Connect an AI brain and he answers open questions, with live facts from the web.

You choose what he connects to

Jarvis installs with every add-on switched off. Turn on only what you want from his Integrations page: an AI brain, Google Calendar and Gmail, YouTube and Analytics stats, Telegram on your phone, Fireflies meeting notes and more. Each one uses your own key, stored only on your computer. The installer never asks for passwords or accounts.

Private by default

Listening, speech recognition, the built-in commands and his voice all run locally. Only questions the built-in commands cannot answer go out as text, and only to the AI service you switch on.
